Zip up, look smart
RigiSystems Ziplok standing seam profile in a plain mill finish has been used to provide a distinctive look to a new extension at Weydon Lane Primary School in Farnham, Hants. The Ziplok was crimp curved along the entire length of the sheets in order to meet the tight radius required and give the building its unique sculptured appearance. Ziplok is increasingly being used on buildings within the education sector, where RigiSystems claims the system really comes into its own in meeting the requirements of this particular marketplace in terms of aesthetics, cost-effectiveness, ease of construction, lifespan and environmental considerations.
Ziplok is a BBA approved, advanced zip-up standing seam system that offers exceptional weather resistance and durability. The unique halter design complements the design of the liner (20/100/1000) in a way which leaves almost no possibility of error in setting out the roof and so allows for fast and trouble-free laying of the profiles.
The roofing was installed by Kovara Projects of Reading. www.rigisystems.org
