Training the Wright way
Three directors at J Wright Roofing have become assessors for the new National Roofing College in the East Midlands, following on from the firm’s announcement earlier last year that it had been granted permission to build the £1m college for roofing apprentices at its site in Bulwell. The company’s MD, Jason Wright, and his fellow associate directors, Livia Williams and Paul Lievers, put themselves through the rigorous training process to become NVQ qualified roofing assessors.
Jason said: “I am delighted that we have all passed and are ready to go as assessors when the first pupils join the college.
“I think it is vital to support apprentices and to promote the benefits that they can bring to companies. I am proud to say that J Wright has been built up using apprentices and that by training our own staff we breed loyalty and hard-working employees.”
