Leading the way
Dow Corning has announced that Saulo Rozendo is the new global green building marketer for the Dow Corning Construction Industry. He will be responsible for identifying and partnering with global building leaders to implement green building solutions from Dow Corning to achieve innovative building designs and increased energy efficiencies.
Jean Paul Hautekeer, global marketing manager, Construction Industry, said: “As building standards require construction professionals to seek more sustainable design solutions, Saulo’s expertise in green building will be key in providing our customers with the expertise and insights about how Dow Corning’s customised solutions can best meet their challenges.”
Rozendo brings a host of green building experience to Dow Corning, such as leading more than 50 green building projects within South America and Southeast Asia, including the first LEED Platinum project in Brazil, training building professionals to become LEED Accredited Professionals, and ISO 14000 environmental management expertise.
Rozendo said: “It’s an exciting time for the construction industry, and I look forward to integrating our innovative products, services, and global expertise to best equip industry professionals with the right set of building solutions.”
Rozendo received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
