John Brash, timber products manufacturer has promoted Elaine Glew to the position of HR director.

Since Elaine joined the company in 2001, she has held positions of quality manager and HR manager. She is a fully qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

During her time as HR manager, Elaine implemented a commercially focused people strategy throughout the business. Working with the leadership teams, she has helped deliver a high-performance culture, embracing trust, integrity and respect.

“I’m delighted to be joining the main Board of such a well respected, innovative organisation,” said Elaine. “I’m very fortunate that the Board recognises there is a clear commercial focus in absolutely everything we do and embraces the HR function as a key strategic contributor.

Elaine has also accepted responsibility for the marketing function at John Brash. Elaine will use her extensive knowledge of the company’s products and processes to focus on John Brash’s timber expertise as a key differentiator in delivering exceptional customer service.
