Etex says that it wants to go beyond ISO tests and in this testing facility, a pressure drop can be applied between the two parts of the box from -30ºC to 50ºC. Here a light external wall or SFS steel system can be inserted and the transfer of heat energy measured. Weak points such as a window or a door can also be inserted to test what will happen. Universal Furnace: A complete Etex system can be built inside of the furnace so that in addition to standard testing criteria, tests can also be carried out that are closer to reality. They carry out 40-50 tests per year. Climate Control Chamber: A room which imitates dry to humid weather cycles where, for example, ceilings are tested to see if they sag. Acoustic Testing Facility: This is to test that innovative thinner wall partitions still retain their acoustic damping properties.
